3 Ways to Leverage Your Reviews

Does your business collect reviews?

If not, you should be! I made a short video about the three specific things that you should be doing to leverage your reviews.

Check out the Short on YouTube or read along below⤵️

1. Recency

Old reviews from pre-2020 might as well be from another century. Your potential client sees “9 years ago” and wonders if you’re still any good (or in business!)

They need to be seeing “a month ago” or ideally “a week” or “a day ago”. That’s proof that you’re delivering now.

2. Volume

Under 10 total reviews looks suspicious, especially if you’re a big business who’s been around for years. It makes people think “they don’t prioritize customers.”

Sounds harsh, but that’s just our reality now

3. And of course, star ratings

4.5 to 5 stars is the zone. You can go as low as 4.1, but it’s a harder sell. You obviously want more 5-star reviews to get those numbers up.

If you’re a good business doing good work, your reviews should reflect it. If they don’t, let me know. There’s ways to fix that.
